These pages are designed to give you highlights of the innovative new features now available within the latest versions of the solutions you rely on. The products you use on a daily basis fall within suites that solve similar business requirements. These suites fall into three major portfolios, Infrastructure Protection & Data Security, Intelligence & Automation, and IBM i & Additional products. This new structure has been created to build solutions that meet specific organizational needs, and ultimately create the best experience for our customers.

You'll notice a Fortra Release Rocket beside some release announcements, denoting a major release. Note that you'll still see timely bug fixes and minor releases throughout the year to provide you with the best usability and experience for your Fortra products.

The Latest from Outflank

Fortra's Outflank Security Tooling (OST) is a broad toolkit crafted for advanced red teams. It includes tools for generating initial access payloads, a C2 framework and various post-exploitation tools that integrate with Cobalt Strike and Core Impact. The toolkit is designed to battle the modern EDR landscape and has a cloud-based delivery mode (SaaS), which allows for a very fast cycle of updates and new tool releases.  

Recent product releases include:

  • New Tool Release 
    • A Keylogger and capability to for remote command execution over WSMan. 
  • EDR Evasion 
    • Evasive features ported towards ShovelNG for lateral movement 
    • Additions of new EDR presets  
  • Stage1 
    • Major performance enhancement of SOCKS  
    • Implementation of low level SpawnAs, which also serves as a UAC bypass at Stage 1. 
  • Misc. Updates 
    • Enhanced OPSEC on PE Payload Generator, Stage1, and ShovelNG: evading EDR emulation.
